Optiver is a rapidly growing proprietary trading firm, with offices in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. We focus on electronic market making and arbitrage activities in a wide variety of products including derivatives, stocks and bonds.  We trade with our own money and at our own risk.

What you'll do

As a member of our team, your role will be to price and trade financial options, build and maintain positions in derivatives and equities, and improve models, risk management and trading methods. We also demand a constant search for knowledge and new theories. This is an excellent opportunity for bright, analytical individuals to join a challenging and often demanding business. Once you have been accepted, our formal, hands-on training in Amsterdam will get you up to scratch to meet the high demands of the job.

What we need

o       Academic degree

o       Excellent numerical and analytical skills

o       A strong affinity for finance and financial markets and a ‘numbers-oriented’ character

o       The ability to interpret data, solve problems and make decisions under pressure

o       An eye for accuracy and attention to detail

o       The willingness to embrace a multi-cultural, fast-paced environment

o       Competitive attitude and the ability to cope with considerable responsibility
